Born in the American South, I was taken in chains by gypsies to the frozen wastes of the northern Midwest when I was six years old. To keep the immense amounts of boredom that go with being a quiet, reserved only child, I picked up writing. It was at first my grandmother who inspired me to write along side her as she wrote her semi-fictitious autobiography. When she passed away in the summer of 2005, I captured her writing spirit and fiction became my passion. Since then, I have written (see also: not necessarily completed) dozens of short stories, as well as a couple novelettes and one film script. When I'm not writing, I'm watching old films. My abhorrence for the vast majority of "new movies" means I mainly watch films made pre-1990 with my top three favorite films all being made before 1968.
